Pumpkin Spice Season
I always feel like Australia is the country-equivalent of Gretchen Wieners. We're always trying to make fall happen here. Except it's spring and sunny and it never really works out. Halloween lingers here but it never manages to pass the final hurdle. Nobody really seems that interested. Pumpkin spice lattes are horrible, spice looms menacingly at the bottom, waiting for the final gulp where it surprises you with foulness that rivals sperm being shot into your eye.
Regardless of all that I still find myself getting into pumpkin scented beauty products. Now, these don't need to try and make fetch happen. They're perfect all on their own. Here are my top picks.

Vanilla Pumpkin Whipped Body Butter - The Body Shop Australia - 200ml for $27. Has notes of pumpkin, caramel, maple syrup, and almond milk. All of the products in this Vanilla Pumpkin range invoke delicious feelings of cosiness. The entire range reminds me of pumpkin flavoured snickerdoodles. Delicious. I discovered this range last year and fell madly in love. Come September I find myself madly refreshing The Body Shop website until these make their triumphant return.
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask - Sephora Australia - 150ml for $92 or 50ml for $62. A pumpkin based exfoliating mask. Peter does good mask.
Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Cream - The Body Shop Australia - 30ml for $7. A delicious hand cream that you'll want to use all year round. The scent isn't too overpowering with any of these Body Shop pumpkin goodies.
Pumpkin In-Shower Radiance Mask - The Body Shop Australia - 75ml for $35. This is a creamier mask but does have exfoliating power with pumpkin enzymes and cranberry fruit powder.
Fresh to Go Pumpkin Mask - Tonymoly Australia - 2 sheet masks for $8. I haven't tried these exact ones but Tonymoly does a fabulous sheet mask.
Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Shower Gel - Bath and Body Works Australia - 295ml for $28.95. I love a brand that mixes their pumpkin scents with something else because, lets face it, sometimes pumpkin on it's own is bland or way too overpowering. The Bath and Body Works stores in Australia are hard to come by and usually cramped and impossible to enter. My recommendation? Suck up that shipping cost and order online.
Trick or Treat Pumpkin Pie Candle - Glasshouse Fragrances - 380grams for $54.95. I love pumpkin in food and I adore a good pie so what's not to love about a pumpkin pie candle?
Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb - Lush Australia - 120grams for $8.95. Lush is fantastic all year round but their seasonal items are even more amazing. They are wonderfully scented and really just bloody fun to use.
So here's my question to you -- do you love pumpkin? If so, what are your top picks?
